Authenticate the message

Open the signed-in account independently and look for the same instruction in its message centre or cashier. Compare the hostname, sender domain, case reference and destination with the official contact route. Do not follow a shortened link or accept a wallet address sent only by chat, social media or an unsolicited email.

Ask what rule applies

Request the exact current term, amount, currency, purpose and refund condition in writing. Distinguish ordinary identity or payment-ownership evidence from a demand to send more funds. A legitimate verification step can ask for readable documents without requiring passwords, CVVs, PINs, private keys or remote access.

Preserve the payment boundary

Do not borrow, use another person's payment method or create a second account to satisfy the request. Save the original wording and timestamps. If the instruction changes after questions are asked, retain both versions and pause until the inconsistency is resolved through an authenticated channel.

Escalate without adding exposure

State the balance or withdrawal ID, the requested payment and the verification step already completed. Ask for a written decision that explains whether the request is mandatory and which policy governs it. If fraud is suspected, contact the payment provider promptly and keep the evidence intact.
